How to play SHUFL.
- Two teams, 1 – 4 players per team.
- Both teams shoot towards the same end, taking it in turns.
- Only one team can score per end.
- Count points for any pucks past the other team’s furthest puck.
- The team who wins the end, slides first in the next round.
- First team to score 15 points wins.

No. A first-time player can slide a puck within seconds of walking up to the table, which is exactly why it works in a bar.
The curve is what keeps it interesting: the surface rewards touch rather than strength, so a mixed group stays evenly matched and nobody sits out.
How do you keep track of scoring on an analogue shuffleboard?
By eye, the way the game has always been scored. Only one team scores per end, counting the pucks that finish past the other team's furthest puck, and the first team to fifteen points wins.
Every table comes with the rules to hand, and venues that want automatic scoring take SHUFL Tech instead.
